I discovered this new thread made with bamboo and cotton. It is so soft and I had to make something with it.

This outfit is my original design. The soft pink skirt is made up of hundreds of scallops and the jacket collar and cuffs and the hat are all trimmed with scallops as well. The collar and cuffs also are lined with pink and white lace ruffles.. The hat is adorned with a pink lace veil and an abundance of pink satin roses. A tiny pink rose on the bodice and her bouquet of posies complete her ensemble.

This 1899 Wild West Show Girl has been waiting half-finished for me to complete the Holiday sewing and is now happy to finally be finished so she can high-step and dance in her red and silver beaded and sequined bustier, train and bonnet. Her silver fishnet stockings, high heels, gloves and walking stick set off her style and the feathers and red velvet bow give a lot of panache to her showgirl costume.

Victorian mother to be

Now that I have finished with Christmas and all the sewing that goes into gifts and merchandise to sell at craft fairs, here is the latest lady I have finished. She wears her woven ribbon trimmed penoir and negligee' and carries her triple candlestick. She has a 'baby bump' and stands near the basinett which has been prepared for her new baby.
